When and why did you become a fan of Jeff Gordon?
"I became a Jeff Gordon fan in 2000. I was not watching Nascar for a while before that, and then one day, I was home from work and I was watching the Regis Show and I saw this race car driver on, and they introduced him as Jeff Gordon. I had heard of him, but when I saw him on the show, I fell in love with him right away. He was letting them give him a facial on national TV and I said to myself, any guy that would do that, is really cool, and besides he was a good looking guy. After that, I watched the races more and became a big fan. "
What is your favorite characteristic about Jeff Gordon?
The fact that he is so fan friendly and makes himself available to us. He is a real people person.
How do you gear up for Race Day?
In the morning, I get up and put my Jeff Gordon socks on, wear jeans, and wear a Jeff Gordon shirt.
What is your favorite memory of Jeff Gordon?
My favorite memory of him, is the two fan club events I attended and how he talks to us. I met him in 2004 at the Hendrick Shop in Charlotte and again in 2006 at Watkins Glen. He loves to have his picture taken for us.
If you could choose to have any Jeff Gordon collectible, what would it be?
Well, I already own one of the biggest collectibles, the 2003 Limited Edition Jeff Gordon Signature Monte Carlo SS. He signed the dashboard of it. But, I have a pretty good die-cast car collection. I love to collect all the special paint schemes, especially the Pepsi ones.
What is your favorite #24 paint scheme?
I love the Pepsi paint schemes.
