Daytona: Qualifying Notes
JEFF GORDON, NO. 24 PEPSIMAX CHEVROLET - QUALIFIED 5TH:
"It's typical qualifying . I'm really excited about the race tomorrow. We've worked really hard on our race setup. The track has changed and has a lot of grip in the tires and they don't fall off like they used to. I still think that here in July, you're going to need the car to drive really good. So, we'll see where we end up but the Pepsi Max Chevrolet is looking good and driving good and I'm very excited for tomorrow. The guys did an awesome job."
